Will DiGravio [he/they] is a writer, researcher, and gig economy worker who lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Extremism & Conspiracies: I currently work for New York Times best-selling historian and journalist Garrett Graff. I am the researcher for the forthcoming book, UFO, and the the second season of the podcast Long Shadow, which tells the story of the rise of right-wing domestic terrorism in the United States. I previously worked as a researcher at Media Matters, where my beats included digital media like Infowars and Steve Bannon. 
Film Criticism & Recycled Cinema: I also work as a freelance film critic. My work has appeared in a variety of publications, including  Paste, Senses of Cinema, Crooked Marquee, NonFics, and Film School Rejects. I am currently an assistant editor at Cinéaste. In 2021, I participated in Berlinale Talents as a member of the Talent Press.
My work on recycled cinema includes hosting The Video Essay Podcast, writing the newsletter Notes on Videographic Criticism, and curating Recycled Screenings. I regularly teach and speak on such topics -- and screen works of my own -- at universities, conferences, and festivals throughout the United States and Europe. Though I live in New York, I am currently a PhD Candidate in the School for Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam. My project focuses on the American avant-garde, videographic criticism, and archival practice.
